Qu-CaseStudy-Avalara-Ordway

Sachin Agarwal, QuBeyond Controller. "Hi, everyone. My name is Sachin, everyone. I'm a controller at QuBeyond. QuBeyond is a point of sale (POS) company. So we have developed our software and we are providing our services to fast casual restaurants around the US. We have around more than 1,000 restaurant locations. There our subscriptions are being used by our customers to buy stuff from us as well as take services. We had started using Ordway around May of this year. We had already been using Avalara in the past because Avalara was providing all the best service for calculating taxes. So the main thing why we had to choose Ordway, we was using QuickBooks. In QuickBooks, we were having issues, with missing invoices or incorrect calculation. It was not completely automated. But the help of Ordway,  we were able to integrate QuickBooks and Avalara both together. And now our billing is being done in Ordway. All the information related to product and tax related stuff coming through Avalara. Avalara and Ordway are integrated very smoothly. I don't feel any problem. We have been using this great integration for the last couple of months and so as I mentioned, we have customers around U.S. In all 50 states and most of our customer want their consolidated billing. So what does that mean? They have more than, let's say they have more than 10 locations that they have a single invoice. And for the tax law,  we need to calculate taxes based on the open shipping location are the customer's actual address. So, Ordway sending all the customer actual locations to Avalara to get actual tax rate and then getting the, the correct taxes calculated for each and every shipping location. And within the same invoice, right now I am sending one invoice like we have a very big customer which has more than 100 locations in U.S. So, I am sending only one consolidated invoice which has all the child invoices with the individual tax rate are individual tax jurisdiction and it's very simple. So, I am very happy using both Ordway and Avalara and you can see like we have, we have a big customer where we have different locations. Each customer has different rates and everything. So my life is very simple. Earlier, we have to calculate so many things even with Avalara. Now with help of Avalara and Ordway it's great. It's very great. Thank you. Thank you both."
